 The Rules
« Thread Started on Jan 29, 2007, 9:55pm »

Absolutely no disrespect of John Denver in any shape or form will be permitted. Critiquing his work is possible in a respectful manner. We don't all like 100% of his music/works, after all.

Threads that do not relate to JD in some way will be relocated to the Off-topic area.

Threads that have replies that go off-topic too much will be removed by admin (the reply, not the thread itself), if the poster does not do so first upon request of admin or moderator. The only exception is if the thread/replies are in the Off-Topic category.

This board is for those aged 13+, in accordance with proboards' rules. Please keep all content age-appropriate.

(Can't resist adding this one...) If people want to post fan fiction based on a character John Denver has played, that's fine. No fan fiction based on JD himself will be permitted.

Please remember that even now, there are new fans to John Denver. When folks ask questions that seem painfully obvious to his long-time fans, please answer kindly, not sarcastically. In other words, don't flame. We were all new fans to his greatness at some point in our lives, and we should be welcoming such people to the board, not driving them away. This board is for all fans of John Denver, new and old alike (and isn't it wonderful that he's got new, young fans?)

These rules are not subject to debate, so replies have been turned off. The first violation will bring a warning; the second violation of the same rule will get the member's avatar set on fire, and cast out to sea (in other words, a banning).

(Thanks go out to silverhammer, wherever she may be, for this very fun way of getting rid of the ne'er-do-wells.)
