The world through his eyes « Thread Started on Feb 5, 2007, 8:52pm »
I wasn't very old when John Denver died. I didnt REALLY think about it until much later. But i've had the chance to hear a lot of his music, and i love it. In it you can really see how he appreciated the beautiful things in life. The natural things around us that most take for granted. Just life in general. Wanting to see, wanting to know, wanting to live, wanting to grow- that's what he was really about. And unfortunately his life was cut short by that tragic accident, when he was trying to just enjoy life. His passionate words touched millions, helping them to see the beauty of life as well. I just hate how his life was cut short in the midst of flying free and happily. It's a shame, because he saw his life as worth living, but still abruptly came to an end. I hope others have been fortunate enough to be inspired by his wonderful songs. Peace!!

What a beautiful expression of John's life on this earth. Thanks, gregorian! I'm so pleased to see younger folks joining the board and sharing their memories and thoughts of John. It's very heartening to know his words, music and all he did for the earth lives on into the next generation or two.
